BROOKLYN WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAY IN US OPEN

The Brooklyn College's team went to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center to play the first qualifying match

When you want to make a professional video, you need to prepare storytelling. You need to film in different angles and positions to create a common-sense story.

I did not follow these basic tips that Jing show us in class. I was too excited about the match and I film with only one purpose: have fun. I filmed even without thinking about the verticality and horizontality options.

THE RESULT

When I download all the videos and started editing, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I had a bunch of videos, but with bad quality and, what is more, different sizes.

The first shots were filmed vertical and the last ones, which showed the matches, were filmed horizontally. This is the reason why in the video you can only see the prematch.

THE LESSON

When you make a shot, you need to think about the technique. Now, thanks to the subject, I am more aware of the shots. Moreover, when I watch a movie I can identify the angles and the movements. But it is not enough. We need to make the most of our knowledge and put it on practice.

I hope this will be the last time I write such a regret in a post.

Keep working!
